This is the working setup we photographed on the road: portable power, an electric kettle, coffee gear, a metal cup, and an insulated bottle arranged in the rear of the vehicle. The goal is not a complicated camp kitchen. It is a repeatable way to heat water, brew a fresh cup, and get moving again.

July 4 trigger

The day that made the need obvious

A brutally hot July 4 outdoors turned sweat and heat into the limiting factor until sundown. That was enough for us to order packs of microfiber sweat towels the next day.
