Use Watertown as the final suburban handoff, pass through Allston-Brighton, and make Kenmore the objective. Allow time for legal parking or a transit-and-walking plan, but do not add a wider Boston attraction.
Half-day final approach
Choose one Allston-Brighton neighborhood or Charles River stop, reach Kenmore, and add one nearby Fenway-area activity. This is the most flexible version when the endpoint matters but the trip has a few extra hours.
Boston overnight
Complete the highway before checking into a Boston base. The next day can hold Fenway and parks, the Freedom Trail, or another single major city choice. Leaving the car parked is usually easier than continuing to drive between central attractions.
