Montana matters here because it makes the Yellowstone discontinuity easier to understand. Route 20 does not jump directly from the Yellowstone East Entrance to deeper Idaho on the site. Instead, the live build now pauses at the Wyoming boundary, resumes at West Yellowstone, and then uses this short Montana connector to hand the route off into Island Park and Ashton.
This Montana page is intentionally narrow. It does not try to turn the park edge into a large Montana build. It simply makes the west-side reset legible before Idaho becomes the next real state layer.
