Robert Goddard launched the world’s first successful liquid-fueled rocket in Auburn on March 16, 1926. Goddard Park offers an accessible commemoration with a rocket facsimile. The National Historic Landmark launch site is associated with Pakachoag Golf Course, so do not cross active playing areas or seek the exact marker without permission and safe access.
